Most institutions already utilize an online loan application portal. However, the technology landscape supporting borrower intake and data collection continues to evolve rapidly.

Where appropriate, I help management evaluate whether existing configurations are fully supporting loan production, operational efficiency, and the borrower experience — or whether limitations in the current setup are creating friction, rework, or avoidable risk.

 

Many institutions rely on basic integrations with Encompass that are functional and borrower-friendly, but offer limited automation or data validation.

 

Other platforms provide a more modern digital intake experience, with capabilities such as:

  • Direct retrieval of pay stubs and W-2s from major payroll providers (e.g., Workday, Paylocity, and others)

  • Secure bank account connectivity that enables AI-assisted transaction analysis and identification of items requiring clarification

  • Automated borrower messaging, e-signature functionality, and support for hybrid or fully electronic closings

 

For institutions that do not currently have these capabilities, I can assist by helping evaluate available options, facilitating demonstrations, and assessing how each approach aligns with operational workflows, compliance expectations, and overall risk tolerance — before any decision is made.
